Chelsea are determined to sign Moises Caicedo from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun. The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Chelsea are planning to make a fourth bid worth £90 million for the Ecuador international midfielder.
Chelsea have had offers of £60 million, £70 million and £80 million rejected for Caicedo already, according to The Sun, which has added that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are now planning to a new bid worth £90 million. Brighton are demanding £100 million for the 21-year-old.
The Sun has added that Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino personally wants to sign Caicedo for the Blues and is determined for the London club to get a deal done. Pochettino believes that the youngster is the perfect player to play alongside Enzo Fernandez in midfield.
