The summer transfer window is not open yet, but practically all clubs are already working on various deals to improve their squads. They are also working on offloading some of those they deem unnecessary for the future.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have begun working on selling players on their books who are deemed surplus to requirements.
The first name on the list is Victor Moses, who is set to join Spartak Moscow on a permanent deal, following the expiration of his one-year loan in the Russian capital. The agreement between the two clubs has already been reached for the 30-year-old winger, whose contract at Stamford Bridge would’ve otherwise run out in 2022.
Midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and left-back Emerson Palmieri are also expected to leave, while AC Milan are considering an offer for a permanent transfer of Fikayo Tomori. The 23-year-old has made 21 appearances for the Rossoneri as a Chelsea loanee.
