Arsenal misfit Alexis Sanchez is gathering plenty of interest from Europe’s biggest clubs this season as the Chilean midfielder is yet to commit to a new deal at the Gunners.
Bayern Munich are being mentioned as the latest club to have joined the race for the Arsenal star player, but according to the reports from Guardian, the Chilean has been made Chelsea’s No. 1 transfer target this summer.
Alexis Sanchez reaffirmed his fine form on Tuesday night with another vintage display for La Roja in their 3-1 win over Venezuela, which will have only raised his impressive profile this season.
Antonio Conte is believed to be extremely keen to add Sanchez to his squad as is willing to sacrifice Diego Costa in order to replenish the transfer kitty and gather the funds to finance the deal for the Chilean.
Arsenal face an uphill battle trying to hold on to their prized asset, who looks set to leave the club. Gunners are reportedly ready to open the bidding for their top player with the price hovering around £50 million.
