French media outlet Le 10 Sport claims that Chelsea have offered Diego Costa in exchange for PSG striker Edinson Cavani.
The Blues have been hot on the trail of the Uruguayan forward for quite some time and they have now proposed an arrangement that could appeal to the Saints.
Namely, with Diego Costa struggling for form this season, Chelsea are ready to offer him as part of the deal taking Cavani to Stamford Bridge.
The two clubs have already held initial talks and it would appear as though Paris Saint-Germain are interested as well.
The Saints have not been impressed with Cavani’s displays since he arrived from Napoli, while the player himself has been frustrated at being constantly played out of position.
And even though PSG would prefer to sign a world-class forward such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar or Robert Lewandowski, chances are they will be forced to settle for Diego Costa.
