Chelsea managed to get their FIFA transfer ban overturned ahead of the January transfer window, which meant they were allowed to sign players, but when they failed to do so last month, rival fans started mocking them. But it looks like it could be Chelsea laughing in the end, as they are now going really hard in ahead of the summer transfer window.
Last week, they signed Hakim Ziyech for 45 million euros from Ajax, as the Moroccan has been spectacular for the Dutch side for the last couple of years. But now they could be raiding France midway through the season. Tuttomercato are reporting that the Blues are targeting Lyon midfielder after Bayern defeat.
Frank Lampard will be eager to improve his team in the middle of the park and Houssem Aouar, the 21-year-old midfielder who could cost them around 50 million euros. Reportedly, Juventus are also interested in him after their loss at the hands of Lyon in the Champions League.
