According to Sky Sports sources, Chelsea are still ready and willing to pay £50 million for Callum Wilson. The Englishman has had quite the season with Bournemouth so far, as he’s finally had the chance to thrive in an extended first team run without having to worry about injuries. Some reports have suggested that £75 million could be the price tag that is put on his head by the Cherries, and while that may seem excessive, you just never know in the current market. If he was to be sold for that amount then he’d become the most expensive English player in history by quite some distance, beating out Raheem Sterling and Kyle Walker who both cost Manchester City £50 million.
He has 11 goals in all competitions so far this season both for Bournemouth and England, and while Chelsea are certainly interested, they aren’t the only ones with Tottenham being amongst two other clubs that are believed to be in the running.
