Jann-Fiete Arp is one of those names that you need to keep in the back of your mind for the future, but the 17-year old could be set to accelerate his fame by making the switch to Premier League giants Chelsea, according to the Metro.
The German youngster forward has been heavily linked with a move to England, but it now appears that the Blues have beaten both Arsenal and Manchester City to the Hamburg starlet’ signature.
Arp has featured four times for the German club in the Bundesliga this season, having only just penned his first senior deal, and has already bagged himself two goals. It is with the Germany U-17s that he has been most prolific however, netting 18 times in just 19 appearances.
The Blues recently signed star striker Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, and the Spaniard has started the season well with eight goals and four assists in his first 12 games as a Chelsea player. Arp is one for the future however, and with Michy Batshuayi the only viable backup for Morata it is perfectly reasonable to expect the 17-year old to earn himself some game time.
