Sunday People has learned that Chelsea are set to bid for Sevilla starlet Alberto Moreno as they search a successor to Ashley Cole.
The 33-year-old full-back is no longer an automatic choice at Stamford Brige, with Jose Mourinho preferring Cesar Azpilicueta in the last two matches.
This is enough to suggest that Cole’s long-term future at the club is in doubt, and Chelsea do seem to have already found him a replacement.
Sunday People has suggested that the Blues are readying a £20 million bid for Sevilla defender Alberto Moreno.
The 21-year-old exploded onto the biggest stage last season, when he earned no less than 12 La Liga starts for los Rojiblancos.
He has since cemented his place in the starting line-up and was even handed his Spain debut in the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Georgia.
Moreno has scored one goal in eleven league fixtures this season and he does seem to be nearing the exit door at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
