Chilean daily newspaper El Mercurio is reporting that Premier League leaders Chelsea are eyeing a move for Bayern Munich hotshot Arturo Vidal.
It is no secret that the Blues boss Antonio Conte is keen to get reunited with the La Roja star after the pair worked together at Juventus.
And it appears that Vidal would jump at the opportunity to move to English Premier League as he is looking for a new challenge.
The problem is that Bayern Munich are holding out for £56 million, but the Italian tactician has been given the green light to try and bring the Chilean to Stamford Bridge.
Vidal hasn’t quite managed to replicate the form that saw him score 48 goals and produce 25 assists in 171 outings for Juventus, as he could only muster 10 goals and 14 assists in 70 appearances in the Bayern shirt, and he is not exactly seen as an indispensable member of the squad at Allianz Arena.
