Premier League leaders Chelsea are hot on the trail of Bayer Leverkusen star Hakan Calhanoglu, according to Turkish media outlet Fotomac.
The Turkey international has been suspended until the end of the season by FIFA, and his agent has hinted that the 23-year-old could be leaving Bay Arena in the summer.
Fotomac claims that Chelsea have now rekindled their interest in Calhangolu and they are readying a €38 million bid for his services.
The Blues manager Antonio Conte is a big fan of the former Hamburg star and he has set his sights on bringing him to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Hakan Calhanoglu has done pretty well since joining Bayer Leverkusen from Hamburger SV, producing 28 goals and 29 assists in 115 competitive outings.
His suitors Chelsea hold a ten-point lead at the Premier League summit and they are 1/14 favourites to go all the way.
