Il Tempo is reporting that Premier League holders Chelsea are weighing up summer bid for AS Roma centre-back Kostas Manolas.
The Blues are highly unlikely to offer captain John Terry a new deal and they are currently in the market for his successor.
According to Il Tempo, AS Roma’s Kostas Manolas has emerged as their primary target following some impressive displays in Italy and Europe.
Even though the Giallorossi have no intention of selling their prized asset, Chelsea are prepared to test their resolve with a €35 million bid.
Kostas Manolas, 24, played for Thrasyvoulos, AEK Athens and Olympiakos in native Greece before joining AS Roma in the summer of 2014.
The Giallorossi have been in stunning form of late, winning eight straight Serie A fixtures, and they are priced at 3/4 to see off Inter Milan as well.
