Chelsea are still keen on signing former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo in the January transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that with Armando Broja suffering a season-ending injury, the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are interested in bringing the 37-year-old Portugal international to Stamford Bridge in the middle of the season.
Ronaldo is a free agent at the moment following his departure from Manchester United in November. The former Sporting Lisbon and Juventus star had his contract at the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners mutually terminated after his explosive interview with TV presenter Piers Morgan.
Chelsea are eighth in the Premier League table at the moment with 21 points from 14 matches, as many as eight points behind London rivals and fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
