Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti rang the changes to his team for the visit of Slovakians MSK Zilina in the English champions’ penultimate Champions League group stage game on Tuesday.
Josh McEachran, Jeffrey Bruma, Gael Kakuta, Patrick van Aanholt and Daniel Sturridge were named in a youthful starting XI, with Ross Turnbull replacing Petr Cech in goal.
Didier Drogba spearheaded the attack, while Nicolas Anelka and Salomon Kalou were both named on the bench.
Zilina, bottom of the group after losing 7-0 at home to Marseille in their previous game, kept faith with the same side selected in their last league outing, a 2-1 defeat at Senica.
Chelsea have already qualified for the last 16 and a point at Stamford Bridge will guarantee they finish top of Group F.
Teams
Chelsea: Turnbull, Ferreira, Ivanovic, Bruma, van Aanholt, Ramires, McEachran, Malouda, Sturridge, Drogba, Kakuta
MSK Zilina: Dubravka, Angelovic, Pecalka, Piacek, Gergel, Jez, Guldan, Babatounde, Vladavic, Majtan, Oravec
