Chelsea are interested in signing Tammy Abraham from AS Roma in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that the Premier League club scouted Abraham in action this past weekend.
The report has claimed that Chelsea scouted Abraham for AS Roma against AC Milan at Stadio Olimpico in Serie A this past weekend. Arsenal will need to pay at least £40 million for Abraham.
The striker is in his second season at AS Roma and has done well for Jose Mourinho’s side. The 25-year-old has scored eight goals and given three assists in 23 Serie A starts this season. Abraham has also scored one goal and given two assists in seven UEFA Europa League starts this campaign.
AS Roma currently find themselves sixth in the Serie A standings with 57 points from 32 matches, level on points with fourth-placed Inter Milan. Jose Mourinho’s side have also reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League.
