Chelsea scout Napoli striker Victor Osimhen

Chelsea are interested in signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli in the summer transfer window, according to HITC. The report has claimed that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners watched the striker in action on Wednesday evening.

Napoli were in action against Sassuolo away from home in Serie A on Wednesday evening. The Nigeria international striker scored a hat-trick to help the defending Italian champions win 6-1. Chelsea were in attendance to watch the striker. The Blues are keen on signing Osimhen in the summer transfer window. He has scored 11 goals and given three assists in 13 starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A this season.

Chelsea are 11th in the Premier League table at the moment with 35 points from 25 matches, as many as 17 points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa. Meanwhile, Napoli currently find themselves ninth in the Serie A table with 40 points from 26 games.
