This time around, having been linked with moves for Koke and Antoine Griezmann over the past few weeks, the recently crowned Premier League champions are eyeing a bid for defender Toby Alderweireld, who has spent this campaign on loan at Southampton.
The Belgium international, who featured at last summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil, has made twenty-five appearances in all competitions for Ronald Koeman’s side so far this season, scoring his only goal in the 3-1 win at Crystal Palace on Boxing Day.
Having clinched the title on Sunday, Chelsea host Liverpool at the weekend with the home win priced at 21/20.
