Premier League holders Chelsea will be shopping in Italian Serie A, La Gazzetta dello Sport has claimed.
The Blues yesterday announced that Antonio Conte would take over the reigns at the end of the current campaign and the new manager has already outlined his list of targets.
Having spent last few years working as Juventus and Italy boss, it is hardly surprising that his wish list almost entirely contains players from Serie A.
The Bianconeri stalwart Leonardo Bonucci is his number one target to replace captain John Terry, with AS Roma’s Antonio Rudiger seen as back-up option.
When it comes to the midfield area, Conte will attempt to lure both Paul Pogba and Radja Nainggolan to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window.
Last but not least, Edinson Cavani and Gonzalo Higuain are players being linked to replace Diego Costa, who looks to be nearing closer to summer exit.
