Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are both showing interest in AS Roma striker Mattia Destro, reports talkSPORT.
The Italy international caught the eye of the English giants with some impressive displays in Italian Serie A, and they have since closely monitored his performances.
Considering that Destro is unhappy at the lack of playing time at Stadio Olimpico, the Premier League sides appear ready to step up their interest.
The 23-year-old admitted few days ago that he was ready to consider his options at the end of the season, which added fuel to speculation linking him with a move to England.
Despite impressing every time he was called upon, Destro continues to play second fiddle to club icon Francesco Totti and has only started five of thirteen competitive fixtures this season.
Nevertheless, the talented forward managed to score 4 goals in less than 500 minutes of league football, taking his goal tally for Roma to 23 goals in 50 games.
