English Premier League runners-up Chelsea have arrived in Thailand for the next stage of their pre-season tour of Asia.

Hundreds of local supporters were in Bangkok to welcome new manager Andre Villas-Boas and his squad.

The Blues made an unconvincing start to their tour on Thursday, as Didier Drogba’s controversial goal saw them edge past a Malaysia XI in Kuala Lumpur.

Next up for the Londoners is a meeting with a local Premier League All Stars XI on Sunday, before they travel to Hong Kong for the Barclays Asia Trophy.

The tour is important preparation for Villas-Boas’ side, who begin their title challenge on August 14th with a trip to Stoke.
