Reigning Premier League champions Chelsea haven’t quite lived up to expectations this season, especially after such a successful title-winning campaign last time out. That is perhaps down somewhat to the remarkable resurgence of the two Manchester clubs, but also to a general lack of goals.
The Blues are the lowest scorers inside the top six, and have relied on Eden Hazard to produce when the likes of Alvaro Morata have been misfiring, an occurrence that has been all too common.
Their star winger may be off to Real Madrid soon however, if reports are to be believed, so it is little surprise that Antonio Conte is already in the market for a replacement.
Richarlison is the man they want, according to the Telegraph, and the Brazilian would certainly be willing, especially after seeing Marco Silva, with whom he apparently had a good relationship, sacked as Watford manager earlier in the week.
The Hornets star has contributed five goals and four assists so far this season, and would make an excellent addition to the Chelsea squad.
