The agent of Porto full-back Alvaro Pereira claims his client can leave the Dragons if the right offer arrives.
The 26-year-old is one of the most sought-after players in Europe, with Chelsea, Tottenham, Napoli, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain just some of the clubs interested in his services.
The Uruguayan international has four years left on his deal with Porto and a €30 million release clause inserted in his contract, but he is eager to leave the Dragons this summer.
The player’s representative, however, explains there have been no concrete offers for the experienced defender.
“We are waiting to see if there are any offers,” agent Flavio Perchmen explained to Portuguese TV station Antena 1.
“We believe that everything will go well and that he will leave, but right now there is nothing (concrete).”
Alvaro Pereira joined Porto in a €4.5 million deal from Cluj in the summer of 2009, and quickly developed into a key player at Dragao.
During the three years with the Dragons, the Uruguayan has scored 2 goals in 72 Primeira Liga appearances.
