Dutch manager Guus Hiddink wants CSKA Moscow left-winger Yuri Zhirkov as his first signing for Chelsea, The Daily Mirror claims.

The Blues coach is a big admirer of Zhirkov and believes the 25-year-old will do much better than the ineffective Florent Malouda.

Axed Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has missed the chance of taking Saudi Arabia to the 2010 World Cup after demanding too much money.
