Chelsea target hints at Premier League move

Palermo midfielder Armin Bacinovic has revealed his dream of playing in the Premier League.

The 21-year-old, who arrived to Palermo last summer, had a chance to get a taste of the Brittish football as he helped Slovenia earn a goalless draw in Northern Ireland last weekend.

“In Belfast, there were so many hard tackles, we fought for every ball. But that is the way I like to play football,” Bacinovic told Sportske Novosti.

“I enjoy so much the hard battles, I’m a die-hard player and I never step back, not even one centimetre.

“There was one moment where one of the Northern Ireland players got really close to me – he thought that I would be scared and move away, but I pushed him away and the ref stepped in between us.

“But yes, I really like the British kind of football so my big wish is to play in the Premier League one day.”

The Slovenia international has reportedly attracted interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, with the two clubs likely to step up their interest following his recent statements.
