Genk winger Kevin De Bruyne has confirmed that he is likely to leave the club at the end of the season.
The 20-year-old was linked with a summer move to Stamford Bridge, but the Belgians eventually decided to keep him for another year.
The player now reveals that he will not be staying at Genk when this season ends.
“Staying at Genk for another season is not an option for me,” De Bruyne told Radio Sporza.
“Chelsea were very serious last summer, but you never know what team shows an interest this time.
“Maybe Genk’s asking price is too high. They want to receive as much as they got for Courtois (€9 million). That’s a lot of money for a player from the Belgium league.”
