The 27-year-old West Ham defender Michail Antonio’s relationship with Hammers’ board has fallen apart and the versatile star is reported to be looking for a way out of the club at the end of the season, the Times has learned.
West Ham are endured a difficult season which saw Hammers being dragged into relegation struggle and England international Antonio will seek a departure with a possible Chelsea move on the horizon.
The Blues approached West Ham star last January and could reignite their interest with a fresh bid this summer.
Antonio still has four years left in his contract with West Ham, but the player is disappointed with his club taking his consistent performances for granted and for failing to offer him a pay rise that would make him a better earner that new signings Jose Fonte and Robert Snodgrass.
West Ham defender who can play both as a full-back and a winger is currently sidelined through an unfortunate hamstring injury which has effectively ended his Premier League season.
