FC Nordsjaelland defender Jores Okore has put his suitors on alert by admitting that he wants to leave Denmark for greener pastures.
Okore, 20, has largely impressed playing for the Danish champions and has been attracting interest from top European clubs.
Liverpool and Manchester United have both made a check on the talented defender, but he has earlier revealed his preference for Chelsea.
The Premier League giants can be expected to follow up their interest after the player revealed his plans to leave Nordsjaelland.
“I am happy to be at Nordsjaelland”, Okore told DR Sporten. “But I think I am ready for a transfer. I want to play abroad.”
The young centre-back has spent his entire career at Nordsjaelland, making 52 league appearances for the club and scoring 3 goals in the process.
Okore features in five Champions League fixtures this season, but could not help his side progress into the knockout stages.
He has so far earned four Denmark caps and is tipped to become a key player for the national team in the future.
