Blues captain John Terry is optimistic that should Chelsea’s performances show distinct improvement between now and May, the new boss Guus Hiddink might remain in London.
“I like the fact that Guus Hiddink has stayed loyal to the Russian team,” Terry said. “He’s taken them a long way in a short space of time and I admire his loyalty. We’ve got six months to turn things round and if we do he’ll probably get offered the full-time job.
“It’s up to us to put in the performances and get the results for him, and hopefully something can be done in the summer”, Terry added.
