Chelsea to appeal transfer ban

According to recent reports over in England, Premier League side Chelsea are hoping to be able to sign players once again during the January transfer window after launching an appeal against their transfer window ban. The appeal has been put forward to the Court of Arbitration for their two window ban to be reduced to one which, as we know, has already been served after they were unable to bring in any new faces during the summer transfer window – aside from welcoming Christian Pulisic to the club, which was a deal that had already been agreed upon.

One way or another, though, it feels like it is only going to be a matter of when and not if this ban is reduced in order to allow Frank Lampard to really put his own personal stamp on proceedings at Stamford Bridge as manager.

Either way, this saga isn’t going to conclude anytime soon.
