Metro has learned that Chelsea are preparing a fresh assault on Bayer Leverkusen forward Andre Schurrle.
The Blues have been showing interest in the Germany international for a while now and they even had three bids rejected last summer.
That don’t seem to have put off the club officials as they appear to be readying a new bid for the highly rated footballer.
According to Metro, Chelsea are set to offer around £10 million for Schurrle, while also including Kevin de Bruyne into the deal.
The Belgian midfielder has been in scintillating form during his loan spell at Werder Bremen and Bayer Levekusen have taken notice.
It remains to be seen whether the German side will be interested in the latest proposal, given that they have been holding out for no less than £25 million.
Andre Schurrle doesn’t seem to be too concerned by the transfer talk and has scored 6 goals and produced 5 assists in 26 league fixtures this season.
