Chelsea are set to make a fourth bid for Leicester City central defender Wesley Fofana in the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph. The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners have had three bids for the French centre-back turned down by the Foxes, and that they will now make yet another attempt.
The Blues had a bid worth £70 million for Fofana rejected earlier this week, but the London club’s chairman, Todd Boehly, is determined to bring the 21-year-old to Stamford Bridge before ths summer tanker window closes next summer.
Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers left Fofana out of the team against Southampton at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League last weekend. The former Liverpool and Celtic boss has said that he will not use the youngster against Chelsea away from home at Stamford Bridge in London in league this coming weekend.
