This January transfer window has been a truly odd one for Chelsea. Considering their huge urge to get the FIFA ban shortened so that they could do business in the market, it was a big surprise to see that once that ban was overturned, they did not sign a single player. But now they just might.
It looks like Chelsea could be on the lookout for a new number one goalkeeper who could replace Kepa Arrizabalaga. According to COPE, the Blues are far from satisfied with Kepa’s performances this season, as he was letting goals in at a really high rate, with just 1.7 saves per 90 minutes in Premier League. He was dropped last weekend for Chelsea’s game against Leicester City, in which Chelsea drew 2-2 at King Power Stadium
He is currently failing to live to up to the price tag and those 80 million euros Chelsea paid to Athletic Bilbao in order to get him.
