Chelsea to swoop for Andy Carroll

Chelsea are prepared to bid for Newcastle’s Andy Carroll as they search for the man to replace Didier Drogba.

Even though the Ivorian remains one of the key players in Carlo Ancelotti’s side, the Blues officials are aware the 32-year-old will soon be past his prime and they have already lined up Andy Carroll as the perfect replacement.

Chelsea scout Bryan Robson has been impressed with Andy Carrol and he has given the club officials all clear to try and sign Newcastle striker.

The Newcastle striker has been in amazing form this season and he has just helped Newcastle beat Arsenal at the Emirates but the only problem is that he has recently signed a new deal at St James Park.

Nonetheless, with Chelsea ready to splash £20 million for the towering striker, Newcastle owner Mike Ashley could see the offer as too good to refuse.

    I like this…

I hope Lukaku (and Neymar after all) make it to the Bridge too…alongside with Speedy Sturridge, that’s a pretty nice attacking force for the future.
