Chelsea want £70 million in transfer fees for Kai Havertz amid interest from Real Madrid, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Chelsea are willing to sell Havertz in the summer transfer window, but the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners want £70 million at least for the 23-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a forward.
Madrid are keen on securing the services of Havertz. The Spanish and European giants are looking at the attacker as a potential replacement for Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio. Both Hazard and Asensio are leaving Los Blancos this summer.
However, Madrid are not willing to pay £70 million for Havertz and have cooled down their interest in him. The former La Liga champions spoke to the German’s representatives, and the player himself is keen on a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, but a move may not now happen.
