Chelsea are interested in signing Mohamed Salah from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to Bild. It has been reported that Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel admires the Egypt international forward, and that the 28-year-old is on the shortlist of potential transfer targets for the London club.
Salah is one of the best forwards in the world and has become a goal machine. Despite Liverpool not having a great season and likely to finish outside the top four, the Egyptian is banging in the goals for fun. According to WhoScored, Salah has scored 20 goals and provided three assists in the Premier League and scored six goals and gave one assist in the Champions League.
Liverpool forward Salah was on the books of Chelsea from 2014 until 2016, but he failed to establish himself in the first team and eventually joined AS Roma on a permanent contract in 2016.
