Premier League leaders Chelsea are considering a bid for Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez, according to Bild.
The Mexican footballer has successfully kick-started his career at Bay Arena, and he is now back on the radar of top European sides.
Bild understands that Bayer Leverkusen would consider offers in the region of €30 million, with Premier League high-flyers Chelsea one of the interested sides.
Manager Antonio Conte currently has Diego Costa and Michy Batshuayi as his options for the centre forward position, but he is reportedly looking to recruit another striker.
Javier Hernandez, who had made a name for himself at Manchester United, impressed to score 22 goals in 43 Bundesliga appearances for die Werkself.
And with Bayer Leverkusen occupying ninth position in the Premier League standings and highly unlikely to secure Champions League qualification, it is believed that the Mexican would be happy to leave the club if the right offer came along.
