Chelsea willing to sell Kante

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Chelsea are more than willing to sell midfielder N’Golo Kante if the price is right this summer.

The former Leicester City star has been a rock at the heart of the Blues’ midfield ever since joining the club, but after a few suspect performances here and there over the course of the season, it now appears as if there’s a chance Frank Lampard will sell him if they can get the right kind of deal.

Given the fact that Chelsea quite clearly need help at the back, you’d have thought their priority would be to bring players in instead of getting rid of them. Still, Lampard looks set to be one of the most active managers in the Premier League during the next few months, which could mean that we see a record amount of comings and goings at Stamford Bridge between now and the new season getting underway.
