Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech is set to join Galatasaray in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray have reached an agreement with Premier League outfit Chelsea over the transfer of Ziyech, who will now head to Istanbul to undergo a medical.
Paris Saint-Germain wanted to sign Ziyech from Chelsea in the January transfer window, but a potential loan deal collapsed due to a paperwork error. There was interest from Saudi Arabia in the 30-year-old Morocco international earlier this summer, but there was an issue with the winger’s medical.
Ziyech has been on the books of Chelsea since 2020 when he joined from Ajax. During his time at Stamford Bridge so far, the winger has won the UEFA Champions League once, the UEFA Super Cup on one occasion, and the FIFA Club World Cup on one occasion. Ziyech has scored 64 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career, scoring six goals and providing nine assists in the process.
