According to some reports in England, Chelsea are standing firm on their stance regarding Andreas Christensen in that they aren’t interested in accepting any bids for the defender. The 22 year old has barely featured under Maurizio Sarri despite getting regular playing time with Antonio Conte, and he hasn’t featured at all in the Premier League throughout the course of the campaign.
This would lead many to believe that he’d be available in the January transfer window, but alas, the Blues would rather keep him on the books – potentially given that there’s still an investigation going on regarding his initial move to Stamford Bridge.
Christensen has a £40 million price tag on his head, too, which could potentially detract some clubs from making an offer.
Chelsea will be returning to Premier League action this weekend with one of their biggest games of the season so far against their local rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
