According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Chelsea youngster Martell Taylor-Crossdale is set to make the trip to Germany later this week in order to have a medical ahead of a proposed move to Bundesliga side Hoffenheim. The 19 year old was the top goalscorer in the U18s Premier League a few years ago, and has also represented England at a number of youth levels. Chelsea were believed to have made him an offer that would see him remain at Stamford Bridge, but now, it’s believed that he could leave on a free transfer. Hoffenheim are also interested in signing another young English star, as it continues to become clear that German sides see a lot of value in acquiring stars from this part of the world.
Jadon Sancho is a shining example of what young English talent are able to achieve when they’re given the chance to shine on the big stage, and Taylor-Crossdale could soon follow in his footsteps.
