Chelsea’s Cahill not interested in loan move

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea defender Gary Cahill finds a potential loan move to Turkey unattractive as he aims to fight for his place in the starting line-up with the Blues. Cahill has been on the edge of the first team looking in to kick off the season, with Maurizio Sarri seemingly not being interested in giving him a chance to prove what he’s still capable of.

Cahill made the trip to Russia with the England squad for this summer’s World Cup, but much like with Chelsea, he wasn’t able to break his way into the discussion for a start. Chelsea have been on fire to start off the Premier League season, and if they can continue to put in these kinds of performances over the course of the next few weeks, then there’s a good chance that Cahill will have to start looking elsewhere once the January window rolls around.
