Chelsea star Oscar has revealed that Paris Saint-Germain have attempted to lure him to Parc des Princes.
The Brazilian, who has become an integral part of the squad under Jose Mourinho, was recently linked with a switch to PSG.
He has now moved to confirm the speculation, albeit denying that he wants to leave the Stamford Bridge.
“I had contacts with PSG, it’s true, but it did not go any further,” Oscar told reporters after helping Brazil overcome Cameroon. “Next season I will remain at Chelsea.”
Oscar joined the Blues in a mega money deal from Internacional two years ago and he has since scored a total of 12 goals in 67 Premier League appearances.
Jose Mourinho’s decision to make the Brazilian his number one playmaker eventually saw Juan Mata leave for Manchester United, but the 22-year-old has managed to prove his worth with some very good performances.
After enjoying a bright start to the 2014 World Cup, Oscar is available at 3/1 to score anytime in the Last 16 stage clash against Chile.
