Frank Lampard is set for a return to action for Chelsea in Wednesday's Champions League semi-final, return leg game away to Liverpool.
The England midfielder missed his side's 2-1 Premier League win over Manchester United on Saturday following the death of his mother Pat from pneumonia last Thursday.
But he is understood to have trained on Sunday and is expected to be back with the rest of the squad on Monday.
