Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez will leave Los Angeles Galaxy after the expiration of his contract at the end of the calendar year. At the moment, the experienced striker says he’s considering various projects in the MLS, in Europe, in Mexico, as well as in Saudi Arabia.
The 35-year-old hasn’t played a game since the start of June, when he suffered a torn ACL. However, he says his knee is now fine, and he is eager to prove he can still do the business at the attacking end of the pitch.

Hernandez rose through the youth ranks at Guadalajara back in his native Mexico. He earned a place in the senior ranks there in 2006, and four years later, he joined Manchester United. He later played for Real Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen, West Ham and Sevilla, before making his way to Los Angeles in January 2020.
