It was something that many have talked about recently, it was also something the Los Angeles Times wrote about as done deal, but there was never an official announced from the club. Now the player himself spoke to LA Times and revealed it is true – Javier Chicharito Hernandez has signed a contract with Los Angeles Galaxy.
Major League Soccer side has made a great and important piece of business at the start of 2020, with just over one month until the new season starts, as they have found a striker that will be expected to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The legendary Swede scored 52 goals in 56 matches for the club and now Hernandez will be the one everyone will be expecting the most from.
Chicharito signed a three-year deal, until the end of 2022, but with an option for another year. His base salary will be six million dollars, which will make him one of the best – if not the best – paid players in MLS.
