Chiellini to stay at Juventus

According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini is on the verge of extending his contract with the club for another 12 months.

There has been a great deal of speculation over the future of Chiellini in recent months, with some believing he would retire, some thinking he’d go elsewhere and others feeling as if Juve was the only place for him. It appears as if Chiellini himself falls into the latter category as he gears up for yet another year with the Old Lady.

The 35 year old has been with the Italian giants since way back in 2005 and has been an Italy international in the senior team since 2004. He has already been able to establish himself as one of the biggest and best defenders to ever play for Juventus across their great history, and it seems like his sole focus is going to be on cementing that legacy.
