Serie A side Chievo are keen on their former striker Alberto Paloschi, according to reports from La Gazzeta dello Sport.
The 27-year-old Italian forward spent five years playing with the Flying Donkeys before he moved to Swansea City and subsequently to Atalanta in 2016.
His Premier League adventure turned into a disaster as he only made 10 Premier League appearances and scored two goals for the Swans before returning to Italy a couple of month later.
Paloschi is yet to score a single goal for his new club Atalanta in seven Serie A appearnaces in the new season, and Chievo are keen to offer the player an escape route and a chance to get his career back on track.
The two clubs have reportedly opened negotiations over a January deal, but Atalanta are thought to have already rejected a loan move.
Chievo are continuing to work on the solution as they do not want to give up on the reunion with their former star performer.
