Ben Chilwell is close to signing a new contract at Leicester City, according to the Telegraph.
The Foxes are preparing a new long-term deal for the full-back, who made his senior international debut for England in last month’s friendly victory over Switzerland.
He followed that by playing every minute in the Three Lions’ recent double header in the UEFA Nations League where they took four points from games against Croatia and Spain.
The twenty-one-year-old has racked up sixty-two appearances in all competitions for the East Midlands’ outfit, scoring his one and only goal for the club in a 6-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the penultimate game of the 2016/17 season.
He made his senior debut in the 2015/16 season playing in both the FA Cup and League Cup but did not feature for Leicester in the league as they won the title.
Claude Puel’s side travel to Arsenal on Monday evening, with the away win priced at 11/2.
