The Telegraph understands that Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on Leicester City full-back Ben Chilwell.
The twenty-one-year old was handed his first England call-up at the weekend after being drafted in following Luke Shaw’s injury and now Spurs are interested.
Since breaking into the Foxes first team during the 2015/16 campaign he has racked up fifty-eight appearances in all competitions, with his one and only professional goal coming in a 6-1 defeat to Tottenham in the penultimate game of the 2016/17 season.
He didn’t feature in any league matches during his first term with the club so didn’t qualify for a Premier League winners medal though he did play eight times on loan with Huddersfield Town who eventually won promotion from the Championship through the play-offs.
He has been capped ten times for England’s U21s and will hope to make his senior debut as the Three Lions take on Switzerland in a friendly at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday evening.
