Non-league side Washington have completed the signing of former France international Pascal Chimbonda, according to BBC Sport.
The thirty-eight year old was last seen playing for French Ligue 2 side Arles-Avignon though made just a handful of appearances before he was released in February 2015 while prior to his return to his home country he spent almost a decade playing in England.
He joined Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2005 before moving on to Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland, Blackburn Rovers, Queens Park Rangers and Doncaster Rovers.
He then moved to non-league outfit Market Drayton Town before signing a deal with Carlisle United for three months during 2013/14 campaign.
Internationally, he won one senior cap for France, playing two minutes in a 2-0 friendly victory over Denmark in May 2006 while he was part of their squad for the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany, where his side finished as runners-up.
