Shaanxi Chanba ended Shandong Luneng’s 10-match unbeaten streak in the Chinese Super League, with a 2-1 win on Saturday.

Yu Hai’s 41st-minute strike and Luneng defender Ricardo’s own goal shortly after the break gave the hosts at Shaanxi Province Jiaodaruisen Stadium a two-goal buffer.

Obina pulled one back for the visitors from the penalty spot in the 64th minute, but it was not enough to prevent their first defeat since May.

Chanba, fifth on the table, moved to within two points of the fourth-placed Shandong Luneng in their bid to reach the Asian Champions League places.

Nanchang Bayi beat 10-man Chengdu Blades 1-0 in a battle of the CSL strugglers.

Paulao scored the winner for the hosts in the 66th minute.

Dalian Shide held second side Beijing Guoan to a scoreless draw at Jinzhou Stadium, earning just their fifth point from their past six matches.

Jiangsu Shuntian thrashed Shenzhen Ruby 3-0, with Ji Xiang, Eleilson and Aleksandar Jevtic the scorers for the home side at Nanjing Olympic Sports Center.

Henan Jianye came from behind to beat Shanghai Shenhua 2-1 away from home, while league leaders Guangzhou accounted for Qingdao Jonoon 4-0 in the late kick off.
